40th Anniversary Film 

Summer 2016 saw more than 150 Shettleston Committee and share-holding members, current and former staff, elected members, friends of the Association and colleagues from other Glasgow Associations gather together at West Brewery (Glasgow Green) to celebrate the Association’s 40th anniversary. Helped by a fine sunny day, everyone who was there thoroughly enjoyed the day.

There were inspiring speeches from the Association’s Director Chris Cunningham and from our Chairperson Gillian Johnston. The speeches reflected on the transformational work of the Association, spanning over four decades.  The highlight of the celebration, however, was the premiere of a short film, "A place of your own", commissioned as part of this anniversary year. 

This film sets out the work of the Association, and its impact on individual lives and the community as a whole.  This film is about the community of Shettleston and its people.  It can be viewed by clicking on 'play', below:
