Executive team

Tony Teasdale

CEO

As Chief Executive Tony heads up the management team, working closely with our elected Management Committee or Board to provide strategic direction and leadership to the Association and our subsidiary companies.

He re-joined the Association as CEO in late October 2017, having previously been our Housing Manager between 1989 and 1995. His career started with housing associations in Cumbria and Birmingham.


Other senior positions have included: Performance Auditor with Scottish Homes' Regulation and Inspection Division; Stock Transfer Co-ordinator and then Depute Director of Glasgow West Housing Association; Agency Services Co-ordinator with Eildon Housing Association and, most recently, Chief Executive of Rural Stirling Housing Association.

Fiona Nicholl

Director of Finance & Corporate Services

With Jim Hempsey, Finance Manager, retiring in July, the Association will be welcoming Fiona Nicholl as our Director of Finance and Corporate Services on 22nd August 2018. 

Anne McAlpine

Director of Customer & Community Services

Anne has worked in housing since 1984 and joined Shettleston Housing Association in 1993.

As well as wide and varied experience in all aspects of housing management she has a BA (Hons) Degree in Applied Social Studies and a Diploma in Housing Studies.

In Anne's current post she is responsible for the sections under Customer and Community services.

Avril Stewart

Housing Manager

Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts – University of Stirling, Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies - Glasgow University, MCIH

Avril joined the Association in May 2017 as Housing Manager having previously worked with Glasgow West Housing Association and prior to this with Glasgow City Council

Avril is responsible for leading teams in housing management, income maximisation and tenancy support to deliver high quality services to tenants and other service users.  Avril is committed to working closely with tenants, residents and other local partners to continually improve services the Association provides.

Joe Whitley

Maintenance Manager

Joe Whitley began his career in 1979 when he started working with the South of Scotland Electricity Board, on the transmission and distribution network. He moved to the Property Services Agency in 1985 where he gained extensive experience and qualifications in the building services field. Thereafter he worked with Glasgow City's Architects department for 15 years, latterly with the newly formed GHA. He joined Shettleston Housing Association in 2004 to take over the reinvestment and maintenance portfolio. Joe became Maintenance Manager in 2006.
