Beware of bogus callers!

Last updated: 8.52am, Friday 29th March 2019 by

29th March '19: One of our tenants contacted us to say that a salesperson from an energy supplier called at their door and said that Shettleston Housing Association's energy advisor, Angela Tyrrell, had made a referral. Please be aware that our energy advisor would never make a referral to a third party or share your details without your clear knowledge and consent.

Always ask to see the identification badges of anyone you answer the door to. If you are still unsure, you can contact us to verify their identity if they claim to be a staff member or referred from a staff member.

Only let callers in if they have an appointment with you and you have confirmed that they are genuine. If you feel threatened or at risk, always contact the police.

When in doubt, please be cautious!
