Money advice at Shettleston Housing Association:
Shettleston Housing association has acquired big lottery funding for five years (starting July 2014) to provide a Money Advice service to both the tenants and residents of Shettleston. Experienced advisors, Bernadette (Financial Inclusion Co-coordinator) and Michael (Financial Inclusion Advisor) have been assisting the patrons of Shettleston for the last couple of years successfully and are happy to make an appointment for you. Debt and financial planning:
Bernadette and Michael have practical experience in dealing with every formal and informal debt remedy in Scotland. They are accredited by the 'Accountant in Bankruptcy' to provide assistance to clients making applications for their own bankruptcies and debt payment plans through the Debt Arrangement Scheme.
They can provide free/confidential advice on a variety of financial issues and are also trained to assist clients prepare financial plans to assist them with their budgeting skills.

The Financial Inclusion team are here to help the whole of the Shettleston community and offer various outreach surgeries in the community:
Shettleston Library, Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 4pm (appointment based)
Parkhead Foodbank at the Calton Church, Wednesdays, 2pm -4pm (drop-in)
Shettleston Foodbank, Killin Street Church, Fridays, 2pm - 4pm (drop-in)
