Bogus text message warning

It has come to our attention that there are scam text messages being sent by a bogus company, asking people if they want them to check if they qualify for the Covid-19 self isolation grant of £500. The text message may say that you qualify for the grant and ask you for bank details. Please do not respond to any such text messages, or any messages that look suspicious, and never disclose your bank or personal details.

Glasgow City Council is administrating the Covid-19 self isolation grants. Information about the grant can be found on their website and you can also apply online: https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/swf
