Interested in becoming a Board Member?
We have an active and committed volunteer Board of Management which works hard to ensure the Association is well-run. We’re always keen to recruit new Board Members from the local area. We will be holding an information session about what being a Board member involves on 29th July (6.30 pm in the Association’s office).
Being a Board Member is a responsible position but training and support is provided. Most Members find it an enjoyable and interesting experience and it can be great way to develop knowledge and skills that can be helpful in employment, and life in general. For those interested, we will also be running a series of training events in the coming months on issues such as: property maintenance and housing development; housing management; finance and governance – to help prepare new members to join the Board.
