I am very interested in joining the Shettleston Housing Association Board, as an Association tenant and someone who has lived in the Shettleston area for the past 35 years. I have a strong, invested interest in ensuring our area and community are well maintained, well managed and continue to thrive. I take a genuine interest in how decisions are made and would value the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of our neighbourhood. I work for another community-based housing association and feel I have knowledge and experience that would help me carry out the role of a Board member. Joining the Board would allow me to develop experience in leadership and governance, all of which would also be beneficial for my own personal development.
